  • You can only make a claim if your registred SIM card is in the lost, stolen, or damaged device.
  • You can register up to two cellphone numbers which should be used in the insured device at all times.
  • All Risk does not cover the following: mechanical or electrical malfunction, wear and tear, reckless behaviour, and theft from an unattended vehicle with no evidence of forceful entry. Refer to the T's & C's for the full details.
  • The costs of making aesthetic repairs to the device caused by wear and tear won't be covered.
  • You won't be covered unless you're able to prove your vehicle was forcibly entered into which resulted in the loss or damage of your device.
  • The loss and damage of the device battery on its own.
  • The loss and damage of your device while it's being charged unattended.
  • The loss or damage of your device accessories.
  • The loss or damage of your device from being left unattended around strangers in your home, office or a similar area.
  • The loss and damage to the SIM card inside the device unless the additional cover was added from the start of the policy.
  • Loss and damage caused by negligence and from misconduct.
  • Loss and damage arising from a manufacturers defect.
  • Loss and damage or a defect under the manufacturers warranty.
  • Loss and damage or a defect caused by any software, applications or electronically conveyed viruses.
  • Loss and damage from device remote jamming or related events.
  • Loss and damage from unnauthorised repairs.
  • Loss and damage in a political or non-political riot.
  • You will be asked to give information about the lost or stolen device and proof of forcible entry to submit a claim to the insurer.
  • If your device is replaced by the insurer it becomes their property, as well as the original device if it is recovered.
  • The insurer can handle any cases related to the criminal loss or damage of your device in your name.
  • If you don't pay the required excess within 90 days from the date of loss, your claim will be cancelled.
  • If you'd like to dispute a rejected claim, you can take legal action within 180 days from the date of rejection.
